Expectations in maths has changed over the past year and we have written a maths calculation policy to reflect the new expectations. Each year (we have called them stages) sets out what the children need to know and how we teach them. Haresfield school held a very successful open afternoon with a focus on maths and how we teach Maths now. This was very well supported and many positive comments were made about our confident and informative Maths Ambassadors who showed parents what they have been learning about in class.
